San Diego Minimum Wage to Increase to $12 Per Hour

By October 12, 2018Articles

Effective January 1, 2019, the minimum wage for the City of San Diego will rise from $11.50 to $12.00 per hour. All employers must pay every employee for each hour worked within the geographic boundaries of the City, wages no less than minimum wage for America’s Finest City.

The City minimum wage does not apply to employees who work in the County, unless their job requires them from time to time to perform work within the San Diego metropolitan area.
